The Longest Weekend - Part II


Naturally, her mother was just plain stunned. Same thing went for me, I was just plain stunned, with a couple of other feelings that came with it... nothing but little feelings only like fear, confusion, etc. Yeah Right! I was sweating and I haven't even began to talk yet. Dug deep, and finally, some words came out of my mouth. I didn't even realize that I was standing until she asked me to sit down. And so, me, my baby, and her mother talked. We talked about how we were going to go about the situation, our plans, and our hopes.

I was relieved that her mother was calm about it. She knew it was coming. But, she wasn't expecting it to be this soon. After some side talks, and watching TV, Im off to my next mission, Operation TTMM (Time to Tell MY Mother). Quite frankly, this is not an easy feat to do.

Surely enough, I was glad that I could still walk. I waved good bye to everybody, her little brother, nephew, my future mother-in-law and my baby. We decided that I alone should tell my mother about the happy news.

Another journey begins....
