When you're away from home ...

There are about plenty of stuff one can do to prevent homesickness. I was limited to 3 things:

• Go down in the dining hall and drown myself with the Free Beer the hotel serves during Happy Hour.
• Take a good long walk.
• Take pictures.

I was thinking -- Beer! -- oh yeah! -- that's the stuff! But then again, I'm thinking -- LIVER -- everybody needs their liver -- hence the name -- LIVER.

I did flunked on my liver test by 10 points, you know.

A Long walk is good too. But, walk to where? The nearest park is about 30 minutes away by Japanese walk. If you want to know what I meant by that -- (If you really wanna know -- here.)

Take pictures -- hmmm -- I have a camera -- a model (myself -- yikes!) -- and an uncurable feeling of homesickness.

I, sort of, clicked my homesickness away and came up with these pictures.



The looking-out-the-window effect. I've always wanted to do this.



Here is a weird photo I think. I didn't make anymore photo-editing with this. What puzzles me is that with more-of-less exactly the same settings that I used with all the other pictures I took on this particular session -- I can never replicate this shot. I don't know exactly but if there are professional photographers who just happened to read this entry, please tell me what I just did here. I know its overexposed. But why only this shot? Where did the light come from?

Might it be divine intervention? Silly, right?

So there -- for a moment, I forgot all about my homesickness. And now, all because I had to write it here -- I'm homesick again. Huhuhuhu :(
