I went back to the ticketing office -- but guess what happened?
The dumbass lied in my face -- and I think he knows that I know that he is lying. He pretended to search over the booking slips -- he starting scavenging over those and then stopped with one -- I can see his eyes rolling back and forth from the booking slip he found and my ticket. After a few seconds, he suggested that he will look over the pile of booking slips one by one. I can't really see clearly from afar so I thought that maybe that booking slip wasn't really mine. I helped in looking over the booking slips to hasten the search. Slip after slip -- I really can't find my booking slip -- which is really odd because of all that pile of booking slips -- I can't find mine? What gives? And to think that the booking slips dated 3-4 days ago were there -- only mine is missing?
I'm slowly heating up with rage at this moment -- all he could was say -- "Wala gyud sir, unsaon taman ni?" (It really isn't here sir, what can we do?) I asked if he could just make changes with the ticket in a pissed off voice -- he said that there would be a surcharge -- although hesitant, I asked how much it would be. Get this -- it's 5%(of the Net Fare) + 12% VAT. Wow! I paid 12% VAT for buying the ticket -- and now, I will be paying another 12%.
With the fact that the November 4 trip will be fully booked in a matter of days or even just hours, I agreed to just pay the surcharge. Lame huh? I thought that it would be the best course than wreck havoc and chaos in there and make a total jerk of myself. But, here is the thing -- he couldn't change the mistake he did.
To be continued...
