In less than 40 minutes, the vessel will depart. Running to the ticketing office was the easy part -- but -- having to run in the rain and worrying at the same time -- forget about it.
The good thing was that I did not have to line up. I just went there and ask the lady about my case. Better thing was that the guy whom I asked before made a call to the ticketing office -- so I didn't really have to explain everything to the employee there. Best thing was that if that previous gal at the scanning area didn't find my name -- this girl at the ticketing office did. The reason why my name didn't pop instantly was because 2 letters in my family name where interchanged. You see how important it is to write your own family name correctly.
All that needs to be done now is a print out that my name did in fact exist in the database so that I can board the vessel. Easier said than done -- apparently -- the gal didn't know how to print. She had to call help from the outside for the printing job. This took time and all the while I was thinking of my luggage that I left in front the vessel. My whole life is practically in that luggage -- Precious documents -- Office Laptop -- my underwear etc.
At last, the same guy who helped me before came. It took a couple of tries -- paper jams and printer malfunctions delayed the whole process even more.
To be continued...
