If by any chance (although it would still be a couple of years from now) it is you, my son, who are reading this entry right now, this isn't a story of how I met your mother. Although we also have an interesting story to tell, you won't ever be seeing it anywhere in this blog. I'll tell it to you personally -- wait for it. It'll be torture to your ears!
I would attempt to make a review of the TV Series that I am currently addicted to -- How I Met Your Mother. I think what prompted me to do this is just the mere fact that I enjoyed watching it last night -- 6 hours straight. I wrapped up season 1 with just one Saturday. Last night, I almost did it again with season 2. Just 5 episodes more -- and then on to season 3.
First of all, the title of the series itself is the whole storyline. This is quite amazing in itself I think. It's not like you can always come up with a title of a series similar to this. For instance, "How Micheal Scofield broke out of prison and made a run for it and managed to free up his brother but ended up without the 5 million" -- see -- Prison Break -- I think is the perfect title for such an entertaining TV series.
Like many sitcoms, it is the characters that brings out its appeal. Don't get me wrong -- they are all lovable and entertaining -- the actors and actresses as well are rightly cast. But, for me, the one character who really makes it all jell -- Barney Stinson -- played by Neil Patrick Harris. And Neil makes it all -- wait for it -- L E G E N D A R Y.
I'm not really good at this review thing -- as long as I get a good laugh every time I watched an episode -- it's good enough for me. I give it an 8/10 rating.
