the train ride

good morning.

day 1 in our train ride blogs.

first off, i wanna dish out a big congratz to Uncharted 2 for garnering the VGA Best Game of the Year award. kudos to Naugthy Dog for a deservin win. the game was really a smash. i enjoyed the game very much guys. from start to finish.

secondly, since i will be mostly writing stuff here while riding the train, let me describe a little about the train ride itself.

from where i get on, the train will pass by 8 stations before i get off. only local trains make a stop at my station. so, i will typically be making brief stops at all 8 stations except for 1 station where the waiting time is about 5 minutes.

the ride is roughly 30-40 minutes. during this time, i am either sitting down or hanging by the overhead handrails. the train is full of salary men(robots like myself) with only a handful of women. in a single car, there might be around 10 women. most of these women, go to their respective offices as well. i call them robot babes. looking at their fingers, seldom i see wedding rings fitted on. so these are single robot babes mostly in their mid 30s.

the train doesnt get very full. in fact, after a station or so, one will be able to get a sit. in a nutshell, its not the kind of train that we see on youtube where people are stuff into a car like a can of sardines.
