300 - Battle of Thermopylae

I saw the 300 movie last Saturday. In a nutshell, the movie is very enjoyable to watch.

The cinematography was unique in a way. It showcased a classical effect where the silver screen looked a lot more brownish. Thus, painting an effect of being old, classic, and authentic.

The CG was impressive too. It was very seamless. It was difficult to distinguish whether one was digitally or traditionally manufactured.

I also loved the way the great battle between the Spartans and the Persians were choreograph. The slow motion effect gave it a more dramatic effect for the viewer. Additionally, there were blood and gore everything which made it even more realistic.

I wouldn't want to talk about the actors, it will only end up in talking about their 6 to 8 pack abs.

The story is a little flat though. I wouldn't expect sudden twists in the movie because it was historical in nature. In my own opinion, this is what the movie lacks and for me, a very good movie much have a remarkable story.

Until the next movie review.

Overall, I rate the movie an 8 of 10.
