A Series of "My First" - Chapter IV

Let's continue on with this series shall we...

I left off with us, finally, arriving at Josui Station. This chapter is entitled...

My First Hike in Japan

What is a 15 minute walk, right? A few turns here and there -- and, Eureka!, we will be in the Kenshu Center in no time, and all will be good. We will be tuck in our comfy beds, resting our tired feet, and eating buffet. Just by looking at the map, there should be nothing to it. Or so we thought...

What the map failed to mention is that it should done so as if we were Japanese. And I think we all know what that basically means, an Olympic level walkathon. Even some of the employees here in the center claims that such a feit is near to impossible.

15 minute walk my a** (hehe), it took us an hour after finally arriving at the center! We did a few stops, but still, that counts as total time. I did mention our near 100 kilos luggage in my previous entries, we were dragging those too in this longest hike in my entire life thus far.

I won't dwell and bore you on the details of the hike because that would be a crime. The bottom line is that we arrived in the center safely, and did not eat buffet but instead some interesting snacks. But, we were indeed in our comfy beds, and rested our tired feet, body, mind and soul.

NOTE: This is a bit way off. Mind and Soul? C'mon!

Anyway, here are photos of the roads we took during that hike.

At the end of this street is Josui Station, please help yourself into imagining how far that is.

Beyond this traffic light is another traffic light. By "beyond", i meant beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyoooooooooooooooooooooond. Go figure. :) This is still going to Josui station, by the way.

Well, I am almost at the end of this series, maybe 2 chapters more until we reach the series' finale.

I hope to see on the next chapter.
