A Series of "My First..." - Chapter V

This series ended with the dreadful hike.

Sorry for that season break thing, I hope none of those will ever happen again. Because of that maybe uncalled for event, I now have stories piling up in my table waiting to be written. Don't worry I got it all covered. Anyway --

This next chapter is all about --

My First Castle Visit

The castle we visited is a famous castle in Nagoya, Japan -- aptly named -- Nagoya Castle -- duh! How else would you call it? Castlevania?

The whole area was beautiful and big. It was there that I get to see and touch my first Sakura. Although, it would have been really perfect if the flowers' petals were falling out from the tree like snow flakes. We came a little too late, thus, I didn't get to experience that.

Here is me kissing and smelling the Cherry Blossoms. I know some of you here are wise guys -- and wise guys have wise ideas about that previous sentence.

Here is an extremely intense close-up of the flower:

We actually just did a little sight-seeing. After that, we got to know the history of the castle. And the reasons why the Japanese government try their best to preserve its history.

Here is a look of the castle --

Again -- a sort of not extremely intense close up of the roof castle.

Those gold things up on the very top of the roof are dolphins. Although, if you look at it up close and personal, it looks nothing like the dolphins we see now. And most importantly, those are solely made up of real gold.

And to prevent you to go Mission Impossible on those -- they are heavily guarded and if my memory serves me right -- those are not the actual dolphins. Even so, you can go ahead and try to do a Ethan Hunt and jump out of a helicopter if you want. Let's see how you would hold up.

A couple more pictures we took inside the castle:

A real katana -- better to slice and dice your onions and garlic with. You can go out in the streets with this and maybe do a Himura on people.

That's it for this chapter. See you around!
