Election Day!

At last, the day has come for another Senatorial Election in the Pearl of the Orient -- Philippines.

Being away of the country on this important day makes me wonder -- Will my one vote do good as it would for the future of my country?

For those of us who chooses not to vote (I know some) or like in my case, are not able to vote, would you care to think that your vote could have changed the current situation of the country?

Of course, I cannot answer for the others -- maybe, their hope for the country has diminished, or they find it as a waste of time, or they just don't feel like voting. For whatever reason that they may cling to, I hope some will change their minds.

As for me, I am sadden that I am not able to vote today because I believe that my single vote could have made even a slight change to our country's disposition. I want it to change for the better. This election could be my only venue to do my share in the country's future.

For whatever it's worth, please vote for the right persons or at least, those who you believe are the right persons based in your own judgment and recollection.
