A Series of "My First..." - Chapter VII - Part 2

I have some time to spare waiting for this kid to finish her ironing so let us continue with this entry shall we?

Again, this whole chapter is all about -- My Few Firsts with a Japanese Family.

One of the coolest activities during the General Orientation Course of the AOTS is the Home Stay Program. In a nutshell, a trainee will spend one night and one day with a Japanese family.

And it went a little something like this...

For each party to be properly introduced with one another, most trainees went to a common place to meet up with each trainee's host family. On that place, we get to see everybody else's host family as well as our own and exchange a few small talk and introductions, and then, everybody went out to their own destinations.

As for me, together with some fellow trainees we went to this place --

Tokugawaen -- a very beautiful and peaceful park. If you want to relax, this is one of the best place to go. It's located within the city, by the way, ain't that amazing!

Here is us taking a group picture at the park.

Check this out boys! Two lovely and eye-candy Japanese ladies in pretty Kimonos. This is still taken at Tokugawaen -- these girls are twins, and they were there for some photo sessions. I think they are models...

Do you see the turtle? Look closer.

After a few hours here, we went to Denny's to have some snacks, and went straight home to my host family's house.

To be continued..
