Homes, Toilets and Bathrooms

I personally like this saying from somebody about houses. He or she says, "Home is the place where it feels right to walk around without shoes." I find that very very true in most cases, especially in Japanese homes. I was able to spend a night in a Japanese home and it was quite an experience.

One of the most memorable experiences during that stay was the time I spent in the toilet. It was my first time to use the shower toilet. We do not have shower toilets from where I came from. Most importantly, shower toilets are very convenient -- if you know what I mean.

I also like the ambience of their bathroom -- the bathroom lighting gave that fuzzy feeling of being light and uplifted. It was one of the best baths I have ever had. Before that, I just took baths for granted, but that made my eyes saw a greater meaning in taking a bath.

Soon enough, when I get to build my own home, that experience will be my standards especially with my experiences inside the toilet and bathroom.
