Before I talk about finally seeing my baby boy after weeks of my melodrama -- I had a little trial (again) with vessels (again again) only this time it was on my way back to work.
When I checked my ticket as I was about to take my first step on the stairs up to the vessel -- it was never to be found. I checked all my pockets -- the front and back -- left and right cheeks. I also checked for it in my utility bag -- nope -- not there too. It was lost and I had no idea how or even when.
After asking several personnels about my predicament, it seemed that I had to go back to the first process -- face scanning. Since I was very very sure that I had my ticket, my record would bound to show in their database. So I went back.
I asked to the personnel there that my records be checked because I have shamefully lost my ticket. She kindly did so -- but surprisingly -- it wasn't there! I was already panicking at this point. I asked some other personnel because the previous one is not resourceful enough to locate for my ticket with some other fields aside from my name.
With the other guy -- he searched through the database and tickets (the part that they tear off) searching for my name. Because it was about 4 inches thick -- he asked me to go to the ticketing office for some assistance as he goes through the tickets. The place is not that far but it was already out of the terminal -- so I had to run -- in less than 40 minutes -- the vessel will depart.
To be continued...
