US Gov't issues subpoena against "wikileaks" and all its followers in Twitter

Here is a pdf of the facsimile issued by the US government's subpoena against Wikileaks in Twitter. You can find the full text of the news here. What does it entail?

Under Section 2. B, it seems that wikileaks' followers are also targets of this subpoena. As it states in sub-section 1, "records of user activity for any connections made to and from the Account, including the date, time, length, and method of connections, data transfer volume, user name and source and destination Internet Protocol address(es)".

There are roughly 637,000 wikileaks followers, and this should somehow serve as a warning to all of them. I don't think "unfollowing" now will do any good. One can always just visit wikileaks, get the same information, and not get subpoenaed at the same time.

Netbook with Android OS coming this August

Netbook users out there will probably love this one. I think current Android users will love this even more. If you can't get enough Android on your phone, how about getting it on a netbook?

I'm not exactly sure when this was announced, but one of the biggest electronic consumers stores in Japan is already accepting pre-orders of the Toshiba dynabook with Android OS.

More information about the upcoming netbook can be found at the official Toshiba website.

Free Wifi for all Starbucks stores

... in the U.S only.

What is this? Apparently, Starbucks is offering Free Wifi. But why only on U.S soil? (Article here)

Basically, free wifi to all U.S stores because of the increase of competition. Wait a minute... so... no love for those places where they dominate? One Starbucks back at the Philippines is pretty much filled to the neck from the moment it opens -- everyday.

I guess this is a very good idea. I mean... who here wouldn't say that coffee and wifi don't go hand-in-hand? Most Starbucks here in Japan don't offer free wifi, but, when I look at the coffee drinkers -- it's coffee in one hand, and a cellphone in the other. Look a little closer, you will see that they are not texting -- they are surfing the net.

Also, a few years back it was.. relax and watch a movie - but now - relax, watch a movie, chillax and drink coffee -- at Starbucks. See!

Mac mini - gets a not so mini overhaul

A while ago ... Apple Store Website has posted this:

Well... you know what that means right? It means ... "Somebody Gonna Get A Real Hurt Real Bad" (in Russell Peters accent). Yes... for people like me, its a definite YES.. a real hurt in the pocket.

One of the obvious reasons is the iPhone 4. Of course, not everybody likes it, but for those who does, it may be right there at the very peak of their BUY-OR-DIE list. A friend of mine said... whatever it takes, and no matter what, he will get it.

Also, check this baby out:

All new design. Making it sleek as it has ever been. The aluminum body is just perfect, I love it!

A few improvements on the processor speed, harddisk space, graphics and connectivity (HDMI, Firewire, etc.) - I say its a pretty good buy. In fact, if we can just fold the (LCD, LED, whatever) monitors multiple times into a size no bigger than a credit card, I'll get this one for sure, and make it my desktop and laptop at the same time. Although, you do need an outlet to plug it on. Bummer!

For more info on the all new Mac Mini, Apple Website has plenty.

(WT! I can't access the Apple Store website.. really?!)

Oh.. that's because they are updating the store again. What will they show us now?

"Applegirl" gets record deal using iPhone and Youtube

I know you've seen this girl already. You know that 22-year old Korean chick who dazzled the hunks with her looks and singing. She also stupefied the nerds and geeks with her four iPhones and GarageBand like apps. (whether her iPhone is jailbroken or not, I have no idea.)

You remember now huh? Well, just to refresh your memory, here is her video again.

Did you see the beautiful pussy on the first few seconds of the video? Beautiful cat. Ummm.. anyway....

A report from the Wall Street Journal says she signed a record deal with a producer from Seoul. Here is the link.

This has happened before, and I think its picking up lately. Producers turning their heads to the untapped talent on the vastness of the internet.

Maybe, I ought to try this at some point in time, maybe I can also make those producers' heads drift.
