Christmas? Yes. True -- it is.
But, let's talk about that in about -- ummm -- 6 months or so. Yesterday, the month of June has started, and right beyond that corner between day 5 and day 10 is another day of everybody's life that is less likely to be forgotten.
Enough chitchat -- let's get on with this shall we.
Chapter 7 is all about the Home Stay Program.
My Few Firsts with a Japanese Family
To further learn about the Japanese culture, what better way to do so than spend a night or a day with a Japanese family. So far, it was one of the coolest and memorable experiences that I had while I'm here in Japan.
But, before that -- a few blog-worthy posts -- if you don't mind.
The Walk Rally
I know what your thinking -- but no -- we didn't stage up any rally to oust any president. It's sort of an easter egg hunting like thing. With no guidance what so ever -- we have to complete a mission set by Charlie (Charlie's Angel Charlie? Ring a bell?). The mission time is only 4 hours, after which, we need to call Charlie, speaking in Japanese, to confirm if we have completed the mission or haven't.
Of course, with combined intellect of my teammates, the mission was as easy as doing cartwheels while eating ramen. But, seriously, it was a piece of chocolate cake with icing on top.
We went to these places --
Self explanatory as to where we went. Next we went to --
This is the name of the department store we went to. We were only at the basement checking out the delicious and mouth watering food. I can still taste it now. Slurp!
After which we went here to get that well deserve rest and relaxation (R and R) --
We went to this store full of cameras, computers, appliances gadgets etc. -- it's a geek's paradise!
In our way back, we were so tired, we ended up looking like this -- angry and hungry. Just joking you guys!
That's it for this part. To be continued...
